Effect of DTT quality on reduction-alkylation

Left - reduced and alklyated standards	Left - DTT reduced with tributylphosphine

Standards are BSA. Rabbit muscle aldolase, carbonic anhydrase, and tobacco mosaic capsid

Samples reduced with DTT, alkylated with iodoacetamide

Note that reduction-alkylation dramatically reduces mobility of BSA.
