Thermal denaturation

WSMV heat treatment

Virus was heated for 20 min at indicated temperature (in 0.2M Na₃citrate, pH 6.5)

Samples were minipurified and electrophoresed on SDS gels.

Note that heating reduces the "background smear" apparent in the RT sample

Note that WSMV is perhaps slightly more stable than rubisco
