ATCV WAL lysin with umbelliferyl substrates
ATCV WAL lysin with umbelliferyl substrates
Samples contain 75microliters buffer (25mM KOH, 50mM MES, 5mM CaCl2) 75microliters substrate (25micrograms/ml umbelliferyl derivative) and 2microliters of ATCV WAL lysin

Conclusions - WAL lysin has phosphatase, beta-D-glucosidase and beta-D-N-acetylglucosaminidase activities. The umbelliferyl acetate is partially hydrolyzed (presumably bad batch)
Assays were photographed with midrange UV illumination through a 520nm long pass filter.
